How to Connect to Hyundai Bluetooth®

You’ve got Bluetooth® in your Hyundai, but how do you connect? Convenient, handsfree phone calls and audio streaming is just seconds away, and setting up Bluetooth® in your Hyundai is pretty simple. Learn how to connect Bluetooth® to your Sonata, Elantra, Santa Fe, or any other Hyundai vehicle by following the steps below. 

Connecting to Hyundai Bluetooth®

1. Make sure the vehicle is in PARK.
2. Turn the key to the on position.
3. Press the “Bluetooth®” icon on the display screen, then press “Bluetooth® Connection.” 
4. Press “Add New.” Enable Bluetooth® on your phone. You will likely find it under phone settings. 
5. Select the device, which will be your particular model. 
6. A passkey may be required depending on what type of phone you have. If this is necessary, enter the passkey that is shown on the vehicle display screen.
7. A message will appear on the display screen confirming that your phone has successfully been paired with your Hyundai Bluetooth®.
8. Your contact list should automatically be transferred to the vehicle. Some phones will require you to approve the download. Downloading your contact will take a few minutes.
